LORI WARD JACKSON

Lori Ward Jackson has been in public relations as a fundraising advocate for more than three decades. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a BA in Communications, she began her career working for the National Football League. In her PR & Media Relation roles with the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders, she became increasingly involved in community outreach. Combining her background in marketing with her understanding of businesses engaging with educational institutions and nonprofits, Ms. Jackson co-founded Scripsense-A Lifestyle of Giving in 2013. The marketplace brought innovation and philanthropy via a closed-loop Saas solution by empowering members to give back through everyday spending habits helping raise money for nonprofits while mitigating the major risks and fraud associated with predatory fundraising.

After the creation of a successful and sustainable model for the growth of the Lifestyle of Giving platform, Ms. Jackson transitioned her day-to-day operations oversight to grow a family real estate brokerage firm into a diversified business consulting firm. A marketing and digital media division has since been berthed providing full- service business consulting to creative photography, videography, production, and digital marketing services for brands and talent of varying sizes across a diverse array of industries.  In the community, Ms. Jackson supports Education, Youth Advocacy, and the Arts. She is an active Board Member and Lifetime Member of Town & Gown of USC, a non-profit philanthropic organization whose purpose is to support USC through scholarships, campus enhancements, and cultural programs. This past year, the Town and Gown of USC awarded approximately $2.3 million to 197 students while improving Alumni Relations and building upon the $80M Endowment Awarding Scholarships Annually. She is the Past President of Town & Gown of USC Junior Auxiliary of Orange County and served as PR/Marketing Brand Director for the USC Alumni Association. She locally serves as an Ambassador for the Largest Catholic School in the Country, St.Junipero Serra Catholic, and a Founding Family & Eucharistic Minister of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Diocese of Orange, California.

In her 14-year board term serving 2 years as President of FOCASA, she raised brand awareness and funds totaling $4.5M. She currently serves as a Lifetime Member of the FOCASA Advisory Council to support the growth and continued success of the Auxiliary.
